What does CPM stand for ?

CPM stands for "Cost per 1,000 impressions". M is the Roman numeral for 1,000. As an advertiser, when you display 1,000 ad impressions you receive a certain amount of money. CPM rates vary dramatically but can be typically in the range of $5 - $50.
